THE EXPANSION

The Suzanne Dellal Centre has embarked on a historic renovation of one of the original early-twentieth century buildings upon which it was built. The construction includes the rehabilitation and expansion of two existing dance studios and offices, a refurbished Yerushalmi Theater for emerging and alternative artists, and the construction of a new outdoor stage with seating to hold 500 guests. The centerpiece of the renovation is the addition of an entirely new third floor and the Zehava & Jack Dellal studio, a state-of-the-art flexible studio/performance space, named after the late founders of the Centre.

In 2019, on the 30th Anniversary of the Centre’s founding and the celebration of 110 years of the city of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, the Centre will open the doors of the newly renovated building. Upon completion of the renovation, the Suzanne Dellal Center will have three performance spaces, one outdoor theater, and 4 studios.

Project Management: The Tel Aviv Foundation
Architects: Elisha and Ronit Rubin Architects Ltd.
The construction is supported by The Dellal Family Foundation, Municipality of Tel Aviv-Yafo, and Ministry of Culture and Sport.

Naming and support opportunities are available for new studios, stages, and theater seats as well as new expanded programming.
