Suzanne Dellal Centre is pleased to present International Exposure 2021, the annual platform for contemporary dance in Israel. In light of the global pandemic, International Exposure 2021 will take place December 1-4, with live performances in the theaters of the Suzanne Dellal Centre, in the hope that it will be possible to invite guests from abroad, albeit a smaller number than previous years. If it is not possible to host guests from abroad, the performances will be live-streamed online.
International Exposure will include two frameworks: Performances and Pitching.
Performances presented at International Exposure will showcase new full-length works for the stage. Performances submitted for consideration will be viewed by the artistic committee on video. See the guidelines and criteria on the following pages for full details.
For the first time, Suzanne Dellal Centre will present Pitching, a new initiative that leverages the Centre’s expansive network of connections and resources to offer Israeli choreographers supportive creative opportunities abroad. Pitching will take place with a diverse international panel composed of directors of festivals, theaters, and companies, who will support proposals for future projects.
Choreographers may submit applications for both Performances and Pitching.
