About the show

BRUT is a dance piece, in collaboration with techno band Avaq. The version presented in this program is Unplugged. BRUT premiered in 2023, at the exhibition "Imagine a Museum" at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. 

Noa Shadur, a Tel Aviv-based choreographer and video artist, explores the embodiment of geographical, cultural, and historical spaces through individual and group movements. Her work reinterprets existing knowledge through a contemporary lens, focusing on the body, relationships, and contemporary culture. She holds a BA in Dance from ArtEZ Institute for the Arts (NL) and is currently pursuing an MA in Documentary Film Studies at Tel Aviv University. Shadur has been honored with the Israeli Minister of Culture Award for dance in 2017, 2014, and 2009.
